Unusual fish found with feeders. ID plz

Can anyone ID this guy for me? I was looking at the minnows i got from the local bait store and saw 3 of these guys swimming away from the pack of the "crappie minnows" (basically grey rosies). I think they look like little walleye because of the elongated body and spikey fins but could be wrong. Any ideas?
 
Looks like a chub
 
that is a sauger. It's found in rivers and streams, right where they net minnows. they are fast, minnow eatin SOB's, but they never get as big as a walleye.
 
Um that's not sauger. That is a brook stickleback...dirty common in bait stores and often mixed with "crappies" and fathead minnows.

100% correct.

Sticklebacks were the very first fish I ever kept, they are very familiar to me...if in doubt check the link I provided in my first post in this thread. That should clear up the mud being stirred around in this thread.
