Bummer. Sucks that my newest accidental additions are going to grow up sterile. White Balloon Molly and female Guppy:

I just had a batch of male snake skin guppy to a white balloon Molly. Oddly so far all but one are solid black, one has an orange head. I have no idea what the will look like, it was a total accident because 2 other message boards told it was impossible.

Are you sure the Molly is a virgin female when you got her? All live bearers can store sperms from previous encounter and get pregnant many times.

I don’t get the desire for hybrid livebarers when there are so many nice wild types. Not to mention some species are going extinct in the wild and only available in the hobby. Once people get their hands on them and figure out how to make them hybrids they will be officially extinct
