Unusual patterned fire eel

I've never seen one with patterns like this before, it looks quite light compared to every other one I've seen. Its a good 16-18" long and looking really healthy, eating well, and I'm thinking it might just make a nice addition to my tank...

That's indeed a nice eel. Mine looks a bit like it but less washed out, I think this fish is pretty stressed.

It didn't appear to be at all stressed, tank looked clean, had plenty of places to hide, wasn't shy about coming out for food. Could it possibly be some sort of hybrid between a fire eel and tyre track eel?

The eels dont cross breed. Mine will change there color from time to time.
