It looks like it has the filter too! Definitely worth the money.

Milkman, now ya gotta look into those two 30" arowanas for it. :grinyes:

That would be a supersweet aro tank!!!!

.... I just picked up a 55gallon white drum that i was gona use for my filter.... I dropped it when i was bringing it off the truck and cracked the top of the barrel..... :irked: ... Time to make the barrel 90% its size...

I'm gona check out the arowanas now.

Keep in mind i already have a 24" arowana and a 19"

Emailed that guy to, you guys are gona make me go broke...

Translation: He filled it, it leaks like a siv, and he doesn't know how to fix it.

Scratches often look worse in pictures than when you are in front of it. Go see it in person.

Give him a rediculous offer and plan on sealing it if it really does leak. When I got my 250g, I was told that the silicone was in horrible shape and the tank would have to be dissassembled and remanufactured. I didn't say anything when I went to look at it, but it was fine. I test filled it in the house like the idiot I am and it hasn't leaked yet

Lol, I'm still deciding if I wana get it, so disregard that last post. I mean even if it is scratched i can just use it as a breeding tank right?... Hmm

What do you all think?

Just the tank and stand no filter
for 230$?

I'm gona go check it out some time this weekend i think.

what do you think I should tell him i'd give him?

When you go to look at it, don't say anything but rub your hand on the scratches and any imperfections. Say 'hmmm' to yourself just to get his attention and so he starts thinking of its real condition. Take your time and go over all of it. Be really iffy and say that you thought it was in better shape than it is....and then lowball him with say, a hundred bucks (if it is worth it to you).

If he says no, thank him for his time and get ready to leave. With your hand on the door knob, turn and say "What do you think it is really worth being in that condition?" If he gives you a counter offer meeting you half way, then he will come down more. Reguardless, tell him you will think about it and then give him a counter offer in a few days.
