I had a red devil, a green terror, and a jaguar in a 150, they were all around six or seven inches, when the wife saw a pretty blue fish that was around 3 or 4"(a blue gourami) that she had to have, I explained that it was a bad idea.but brought him home.he was in the tank for a year and a half until I had to sell the tank, never got beat up once.named him Merlin because there was no logical explanation why he didn't get destroyed.
