I got the Scarecrow book from work actually...no point letting those troglodytes rip out the pages and graphitti up the book lol.
Stephen Hunter wrote Point of Impact which was later brought the big and small screen as Shooter.The movie and show are okay but nowhere near as good as the book of course.

If you ever get a chance pick up the other scarecrow books they're pretty good. The jack west series is even better....almost like indiana jones in modern times but being a soldier...sort of lol i coukdnt out them down

Great line of books that Tom Cruse has secured the movie rights to.Cruse is actually a bad fit for the Jack Reacher character.

My bad double post. I have read Lee child once. I enjoyed it. I'm a big creature of habit so when I come to reading I usually go to the known quantity. I'll check out some of what you guys have already discussed.

You should enjoy some of them at least,Gregg Hurwitz and Brad Thor are favorites as well..

Well that sucks,it's almost like stealing the name in order to ensure a totally different movie does well.
