How about Green Zone? I have just been googling around for action/adventure movies from each year and came across this. Matt Damon plays an Officer in the US Army who uncovers a WMD conspiracy while in Iraq. It was pretty good actually.

Haha I got the reference.I mentioned it because it is along the lines of Green Zone.It has plenty of action once it gets going.

I started Lost in Space on Netflix this weekend. Its pretty good, little slow at times but I love the space adventure genre.
