if you are messed up enough to not know the difference, and act out a violent crime because of the fantasy tv show, then you got other issues.

blaming the shows is just some people trying to find a loop hole or get out of an easier sentence. to get others to feel sorry for them, to put blame on something else. but the real issue is not the shows and music, those people are sick to begin with or just someone trying to take advantage of blaming other things

so the people that committed suicide were just looking for a loophole? thats insane logic. did it ever occur to you that some of these horror show creators are insane psychos that want people to go crazy? ellen degenerate? the view?dude-you said that.thats on you

i'm not gonna pretend like i'm an expert on the psyche of suicidal minds, you seem to be the expert since you seem to be speaking for them.

the "loophole" I was referring to was strictly about people who got in trouble with the law for violent acts and blame tv shows for what they did. I was not referring to suicides. although the suicide itself is a form of loophole

let's not keep going around in circles. bottom line, people who do crazy things (suicide, violence) and blame tv shows or music have been crazy before they saw or heard those shows/music. simply cutting out the music or shows isn't the solution, they need professional help.

and actually, no, it never occurred to me that show creators are insane psychos that want people to go crazy. but you go on ahead and continue to wear that tin foil hat and conspiricize away. yes I just made that word up right now. and i'll sit here and wait on proof to make such claims

and yes, the view, yes ellen, you asked for positive shows so I threw out some names for you

are you talking to yourself? i don't remember asking for examples of 'positive 'shows. I also said people who actually went crazy from exposure,not people using it as an excuse.you're the one who said that so you just responded to your own comment. whatever


In unrelated news-revenge of the Green Dragons was a damn fine movie. very realistic and gritty portrayal of Chinese gangs in the 80's.

sure feels like I'm talking to myself

I said there are only two kinds of people who blame tv/music for their crazy behavior. people who are already insane in their membranes before watching/listening to tv shows/music, or people who are not insane in their membranes but just looking for an excuse for their crazy behavior.

everything I am saying or have said pertains to our discussion. try to keep up

so #1, no I do not agree with your insane logic about "if you watch certain kinds of shows, those things you watch will eventually happen to you"

#2, no I do not agree with you that show creators are psychos trying to use their work to turn people crazy

#3, the only thing I can agree with you to a certain point is that tv/music can influence people to do crazy things. but how much and to what extent is where we differ. for example, I don't think a normal person can watch a violent crime show and one day wanna shoot up their school. I think someone who does that has already had some kind of mental problem prior to being exposed to violent shows/music
 
btw, you are the one who mentioned that positive shows can affect people positively

plus you're just really against violent tv shows. well there are plenty of positive shows

so you being one who believes that should have at it and continue indulging in them. I just gave you some suggestions
 
Even worse, my tank crashed today. I can't remember the last time this happened :duh:
