anybody saw the movie Gone Girl?
I saw it last night with my wife, she recorded it. didn't realize ben assleck was in it.
as much as I hate him, he was kind of perfect for the role. move was slow in the beginning, then it got good, then it got really good, then it's as if they down shifted and the ending was really stupid
it's a good movie, but it just had a stupid ending

after I posted I Read the rest of the thread...gonna watch "gone girl" in the next couple of days.....I am in the middle of "CALIFORNICATION" right now (season 5).....what a trip that show is ......Heard of it but never gave it a try....along with True Detective which I have been meaning to catch.
True detective was awesome in season 1 ......the characters are all new for season 2 , time will tell , but it is off to a good start
I understand the movie is based on a book, so the movie just followed it, but I think the majority who saw the movie thought it was a lame ending

consistently slow for first 2-4 episodes each season so I'm expecting things to pick up
