these are just the ones that would let me photograph them halfway decently. The 1.5 inch neet has killed the 3.5 inch salvini, i moved one of the trimacs and the male convict out.

As of tonight, the female grammodes is really hammering the argentea for the tank spot.

I know right? he and the grammodes have been fighting for about 2 hours for that one spot and hes not backing down. Im a little concerned about what will happen when I go to bed.

hope they sort out terrotories soon. if they continue fighting for days or weeks. . . . the grammodes have a bigger bite. try rearranging that particular spot where their fighting over?

nah, not tonight. its a 265 and almost 3 ft deep. Not about to try and do anything this late tonight. Im doing a water change tomorrow and Ill sort it out. Theyve been living with each other for months now and the grammy is just being a grouch tonight. For the past 4 weeks its been the opposite...the argentea has been ruling and being an *** to everyone but the neets.

quite suprised its the argenteas ruling the tank with your collection of fish. ive got 6 in my tank with pearsei and my small firemouth is boss.

Great fish and love the tank. It seems kinda weird with all that room your having trouble. Ive had a few growout ca/sa communities and hadnt had much trouble until the fish started putting on size.

Im sure you know, but I would definately keep an eye out on the two. Not saying the argentea isnt capable of holding its own, but IME grammodes are psychotic. If they are simply fighting over that territory and its not a heirarchical issue, id redecorate that section of the tank.

Good luck
