Week 9

original thread here:

http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=296105

The Argentea and 1 trimac have been removed, the salvini got got killed by someone, 3 'Red' Istlanum were killed by the last remaining one (these guys REALLY hated each other) and I added a cuban.

I removed the 350w worth of grow lights so I cant get a full tank pic right now..its just to dark and Im photographically challenged without TONS of light.

Stock is now:

4x Barred Citrinellum (from flowerpowers piebald parents)
3x Honduran Red Points (1 pair, 1 leucistic)
3x Cyanogutattus
2x Neets
2x Grammodes (pair)
2x Vontehillo (female)
1x Trimac
1x Cuban
1x convict (female)
1x 'Red' Istlanum
1x Jack Dempsey

This weekend I will be adding 2 male vontehillos (from Sarah88) to the current 2 female vontehillos and see if I can get a pair.

Neets are still one of my favorites...next to the istlanum & cuban.

I have a male cuban that I will be trying to pair with the female in a separate 75 gallon (if thats what they are...I cant get legitimate answers to the sexes on the cubans).

2 questions...can anyone sex the cuban and istlanum? Im thinking female cuban and male istlanum, but I have no experience with either and am just going by their resemblances to pics of full grown specimens.

Ive added a lot more wood and a few big rocks.

No aggression yet. Male Grammodes is the head of the tank, JD, Cuban and Trimac are a close 2nd.

as always, the carpintis and cyano pics just dont show the colors. I cant figure out how to get good pics of them still.

To all those in NC interested...as these guys get bigger and things start getting rough, I will be removing and selling some of them...

enjoy! and thanks for looking!!

Those fish are so small and yet soo aggressive. Can't believe they are that aggressive even in a 265g... crazy. Good pics tho bro. Better than what I can do.

Awesome pictures and fish - as usual.

Thanks man. Fortunately I can bring my work camera home and take pics because it makes 100% difference than my personal one. The aggression isnt too bad really, it was just the istlanum. They fought since the minute i put them in there. The one left hunted the other 3 down pretty much non-stop.

Thanks Guys. I tried to get full tank shots but they are just too dark and you cant even see in the tank. Ill mess with it some this weekend.
