I was talking to anyone and everyone. Dirty colored water doesn't necessarily mean its bad. He may have zero n03/n04, n02 and low n03. It's about the fish, what his water color or tank setup happens to be is his choice. I've seen 100% clear water tanks with crazy levels.

His fish look good, I'm sure if you posted a pic of your setup not everyone single person is going to like it either, I'm that guy who looks at the fish, and if I happen to like your setup or decor I will comment on that, anything else is negativity. I have no beef with you, nor I have I ever seen your name, let's leave it at that, I would much rather get along with you!

Maybe its leaching dw or something...?

+1 with the dirty water. I have seen many tanks with dirty water and prefect levels and fish.

Keeping pacu in an average aquarium though... thats a different story. be prepared to buy a huge tank and lots of food, I was going to suggest feeding bananas peas etc thats what we feed ours but to my understanding the ones with red bellies are carnivorous?

juding by the thicknesss of the glass looks like it is around 50-75 gallons. You will need something around 300 gallons for those pacus. You could give them away and get a smaller wat pet. Besides that nice fish:)

Fish look good, you can put the tank dimensions into a online aquarium gallons calculator to find out how big it is

Thank you, its so annoying when people come here to share their fish then they get scared off by trollers!

Op although your fish are great they do get as big as a bike tire, as squirtle said a pond or seriously big tank 400+ is needed eventually. Thanks for sharing!
