  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looking good. You are going to make me switch one of my tanks over and get an armatus if you keep posting these pics.

As far as the best pic...I would say the 3rd to last one looks good. I know it's hard to get decent shots of reflective fish.

JD_MAN, If you can you should get one!

I swear to you they are a cool fish. Like I said before the offer what is best of characins (the big teeth and exotic looks), but with out the typical skittish characin behavior. They act more like cichlids!

You and Rallsman need to come down to take some shots of him with yalls photo skills when he gets a bit bigger!

nice little payara ;)

he's looking nice...

mines face is still moderatly bashed up....but has gotten over the ich!

point me to a link of what you have in your tank with him cause someone here was saying the arrows were not good to have with them due to them being silvery or somethin....

I dont know of any links but, mine hates a silver dollar I have in with him. He hasnt caused any damage yet though. He also didnt like the silver I had, but the silver jumped and died so....

He doesnt mess with my dats all that much. Occasionally they will push each other out of the way but real skirmishes to speak of.

Post pics of yours!

careful with medications. salt is the best way to go. i have bichirs and rays with mine. bottom dwellers seem to be the way to go.
