update: bichir spawn

i put together a little bichir crib. had to rig a diy sponge filter. turns out nobody carries these things anymore wish me luck. in a couple days we will see what happens.

here is a couple pics... first one is the crib with eggs circled. the only ones you can see right now, the rest or on the rock under the moss. i can see about 15-20 eggs without disturbing the moss. second pic is close up of an egg.

Looks like a good set up, but what do i know, lol, ive never hatched eggs. Seems like youve got an idea of what your doing, and that youve been actively doing your homework. best of luck,

got a couple pics of the parents.. i do not know which male fertalized eggs. they both had turns with the female. they both exhibited cupped anal fin turned to the side.

first pic is albino male alone.
second pic is regular senegal male alone.
third pic is during the spawn.. female is regular senegal and male is albino.
