UPDATE: dovii pair and their fry

Since I am posting some of my other fish, I might as well throw out an update on the dovii pair as well. They spawned this week as well my nic pair and festae pair. No FTS from this tank yet though sorry, it's getting redone anyway since we are moving..

I absolutely love this pair named Ike and Tina for obvious reasons lol.. :ROFL:

Very cool! Man.... seeing all these CA's breeding makes me want to get a system back up and getting pairs of CA's again. Congrats!

Thanks jweav! The male is about 16" and the female is 8". She is tiny compared to him. Don't let the size fool you though. Any day I see a mark on her, the next day he has a chunk of his caudal fin gone..

Thanks fishman09! I do have a lot more pics but I only wanted to post pics from the last day or so. I'll get some side shots of him posted in here for you.

Funny how such small fry turn into absolute beasts. I'm glad the male is still civil to his smaller mate. Keep up the great work. BTW I don't envy you having to move all of those tanks. Good luck with the move.

Thanks Al! I could not be happier about having to move these tanks. It's my chance to redo a few. I never break down a tank once it's running so this is a good opportunity. Besides I told my wife I was depressed about moving so she said buy another tank and that will get you excited.. :ROFL: I am going to look at it tonight..
 
I just found this shot from the same day as well. It wasn't clear so I moved on but didn't notice she is giving him some attitude back. Too funny. You can see his anal fin is missing some chunks like I mentioned above. This grows back by the next spawn but happens like clockwork every time.
