How long do they need to fade , and how old there urs?
Nice looking GT u got there !!
they all fade at different times, some may not fade until 6"s or so, really no way to know, some may never fade at all. thats the thing that I personally don,t like about faders, thats why I am trying to get rid of them, I don't have the patience to wait and see how they all turn out, at least when breeding pure breed fish you already know how they're gonna look.

I thought it had been a lot longer since I put up any updates, maybe since these beasts have grown so much, I sold all of them except the two biggest ones in my 125, turns out they are male and female and have decided to breed, they are 6-7" now and I am going to let them breed and raise the Fry, I am hoping some of the Fry will come out the way I hoped their parents would, but I have seen that when breeding FH you never get the results you expect, and that most of the traits you are breeding for usually dont come out in the first generation offspring, so bassically I am hoping for a miracle. wish me luck, I will try to post some pics tomorrow morning.

They have a lot of color and look nicer without the stress bars(breeding pattern) BTW the bottom 2 pics are the female other 2 above them are the male, both have black blotches on their dorsal.
