yeah the more pics i look at of female festaes, the more differences i can see in the body shape, and the obvious lack of splangling on the female fins. now i just need a female!

it took me 10 tries to get a female but now i own 2 and a male i hope you have better luck than me finding her

Congrats. It's definitely a male, females would have lost most of their juvie spangling at that size. The spangling on a female won't stick past 6" in my experience.

Male festae are beautiful.
