is the 1st pic right after you got it? looks like its from rubbing against something (bags etc.) during shipping. it doesn't seem to be as white and the area doesn't seem to be as big in the last pic. anyway just my 2 cents.

again CDM, VERY VERY nice!!! i love palmas palmas! :)
 
What's your PH like CDM?

I wonder if it affects the contrast of poly's?

When I kept my laps in a tank with eco complete, their contrast was high, but now that they're over plain black sand (no buffered ph), they're not as contrasting.
 
it was right after i got it. but the white lip is still there... just harder to see in some pics...
its not from shipping cuz it was never shipped :P My lfs had it sitting in a tank for over a year... i always thought it was cool and i was askin why its not getting sold... he told me it was a friend of his's and he was watching it for him... so i asked if hes ever gonna pick it up cuz id like to have it...
he said screw it u can take it.. so i got him for 35 bucks :)
