very impressive! one question though, how do you keep track of what species each ray is? Like when new rays are born how do you know what kind of ray the father was?

Sure, I very happy if my experience be useful for another. I separated my filtration to be 4 bed in size of 4m. X 2m. X 1.5m. First bed is bad water from both wing of filtration bed. Second bed, I combinated fiber on the top for filter dust and refuse, under fiber I have coral and shell for rough filter. Third bed, I added small pumice for detail filter. And last bed is new fresh water mixing together with filter water. All water pump will draw fresh water pass UV. tube for clean before goinh to ray pond.
I surely about the colour of tiles can effect to the ray colour. Lighted colour can effected ray colour to be more light and added some more spots.
