didnt use my finger cause it was still breathing. i started growing it out about 8-9" and had it for just about 1 year.

These guys grow fast and I still do believe they can thrive in a home aquarium as some 24" armatus pictures have surfaced thanks to MFK to show proof of this.
I was just unlucky.

Think one of the fishes in the tank freaked it out and bumped its head on the top glass since there was a mark for some time on top right around where his gills are. It actually healed but it was never the same for about 1-2 weeks. Eventually it started flipping upside down and i knew it was a goner so i took it out and ended the suffering.

Same thing happened to one of my 10" and a couple 7". It's so upsetting to see the lost of such beauty speciment!
