They are Getting bigger that for sure.

My male is close to 10" now he's maybe 9 and 1/2" maybe even 10". Got to measure him soon. The only thing is his Nuchal isn't getting bigger.

I don't know how you guys do it, I can't keep mine with any tankmates, He Kills anything with fins, just freaking unbelievable, Started as a pinky fingernail and now he is about 2.5-3" The Personalit of a Midas, and the beauty of a, well they are just beautiful! Mine even kills snails.....Tried to take out a Syno Multi 5", skunk Botia 3", Plecos, and did kill the other 9 that came with him, as well as some cons 2 times his size...Just a speed killer!

His Idea? If it moves, I must kill it.....

This is a cool thread! If you are thinking of trying to add a tank mate, consider a Pike. They are super fast and usually can dodge the bites! I put one in with my Midas to try and keep his aggression down and it seems to have helped!

My male beats on others when there is territory problems but I haven't seen him quarrel with any fish in about a month. Though last night he challenged my 13-14" midas and lost ( he will NEVER win against the midas).
