Update of my ansorgii and other bichirs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just do it, go with the blue if you don't like it you can always chang it out,
Good looking lap you had,
I am still looking for one of those endlixansorgii,

Do you realize how much work it is to change out the back ground? Hehe I would need to flip the tank over to peel off the black cover and add a blue cover. An easier route is to do tile or sand. I was debating between red sand or terra cotta tile.
Thanks for the compliment but I was freaking stupid to sell that lap. :-(

That is one bad ass lap and its bare bottom to top it off. What size is your ansorgii?
ansorgii is about 6.5". All other fish are 10-14"

Mike, there is no way I would do blue gravel unless I am keeping goldfish. Here is a pic you requested. Kind of blurry.

ur polys are stunners...

for the tank bottom will it really make any difference to what u stick underneath? due to the reflection thing.... cause when ive had white or even grey they eventually turn out to have the mirror effect like u have... so im looking fwd if at all u laboriously get it blue:thumbsup:....

since i cant do black vinyl or anythin like what u have in mind, i am going to get the tank tiled.... ur terracota sounds interesting i might give it a shot;)...

I might do red sand but am fighting myself that red is not natural. If I have a choice I would do dark blue bottom. They looked best against blue and I love blue. :-)
Lol

thanks. if you don't want the reflection effect the next best option is to tile your tank or add sand. Another extreme option is to paint the inside of the tank. LoL I would not do it of I were you. I don't like sand and gravel for ease of maintainance. If you decide to do tile you will never be able to feed live blood worms. It's kind of a toss up to find what works best for you.
