How long have you had him?

My 2 commons grow at a snails pace.

He is almost 2 years old. He grew very fast until he reached about 10", then he started growing about 1/4-1/2" every month.

Wow, mine are older than that and 6.5 & 7" respectively. What a hog yours is for that age.

Hi, I think your Pleco is this - http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=302 I may be wrong but he doesn't look like an ordinary type of common. He has very nice markings.

Thanks. His patterns look just like the pleco in the pic, but he is more of a gray than the tan color.
