Yours could be a Sankarani variant as well. Guinea and Sankarani are connecting rivers. My Sankarani lap was caught close to the border.

How big is yours?

i don't think there's a river named 'Guinea'. Who knows which river(s) the 'regular' Guinea lap are caught from, other than they are caught somewhere in Guinea . Since part of the Sankarani river is in Guinea, it's likely that some of the regular guinea lap are caught in connecting rivers and so they would like similar. anyway i think mine is about 13"-14". got it a long time ago. its color/contrast vary from time to time, and for a while now, it's looking like in the pics.

Mine will darken up to almost jet black and sometimes will just get stable just like in the pics. I call this lap an Indonesian datnoid lap. Lol!
