Update of the male esox

Just snapped a nice photo of my male Rhamphochromis esox.. hes grown quite a bit since the last photo..and due to aggression has become my "show" fish.. Let me know what you guys think..

No, the cichlid commonly referred to as the malawi trout is actually Champsochromis caeraleus. Although the Esox is not as pretty as the Champ, lacking the blue sheen seen in adult males, this guy will outgrow a champ by atleast 10 inches. As far as my knowledge goes this specie is the largest growing haplochromine from lake malawi, maxing out at over 24 inches.

This is a wild caught male from lake malawi, and he is roughly 10 inches and growing fast..
