Update of the male esox

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I dont really like my tanks that much to show them off.. they are nothing special.. hes from the open water so i dont crowd his tank with rocks to give it that usual african cichlid "feel". i might have like 10lbs of lace rock in there and thats it besides the internal filter shown in the picture.. The only other things in his tank besides him are my two male Rhamphochromis longiceps and a synodontis eupterus..

I feed him a bunch of different things.. he eats krill, massivore, carnivore sticks, and alot of live food. He is a top notch predator and im not going to be the one who messes up his shibby by not letting him hunt the way he was programmed to do. This guy will stuff 5 little mbuna in his mouth at a time ; )..

I am planning to do a large 250gal+ with a full rock setup. And spawn all types of dwarf mbuna in there with him.. that way he can pick off the fry as he sees fit.. I will make arrangements for such a tank when he gets up near 18 inches..

Keep the comments coming guys.. you dont see these very often!!!
