Wow, nice collections. Like the GTs and love the bichirs, I need to get more now...
Thanks!

I know they're common and some people wouldn't dream about keeping them, but eh, they're what I like. It's going to look cool when all six GT's are full grown in there!

I suggest you get the upper jaws first then fall for lower jaws.

wow... almost 8" already on the platinum senegalus.. you got to be feeding it every minute huh...
maybe i should loan you the two more and pump them up...
great selection... great sized tank!!!

maybe not every minute, but I am feeding twice a day. Still trying to convert them all to massivore. He takes it once in a while, also any cichlid gold that makes it to the bottom, but he (definitely male) still prefers earthworms and market shrimp.
thanks for the kind words Rich!

love the GT, i would love one like that
See the smaller ones in the pic? The big ones were that size when I got them.. about, 4 months ago? All you have to do is take care of the water quality, 50% WC's minimum, and don't mess with the filters too often. Oh, high protein diet helps too.

Thank you. They're one of my fav cichlids because of all that color.

dude, ur gt luk awesome man, wut do u feed 'em?
Thanks blazin

I feed Hikari cichlid gold, cichlid bio gold, frozen market shrimp, occasionally (once a month at least) cut up earthworms (messy and kinda cruel, but it's a great high protein/alt. to live feeder fish diet, really good for putting on size and color for your fish).
The GT's also LOVE massivore. They like it more than the bichirs do so far.
