Big Daves Rays;2123135; said:yeah, well there has been some biting. last time I didn't suspect she was pregnant because the males are less aggressive than my motoros, so I figured it was just small nipping, but when she started growing and eating and I saw movement, i was excited. they are very mild mannered compared to my motoro experience, which is brutal during breeding.
I didnt breed my big pair. But the Behaviour you are describing is exactly the same as I see/saw in my own pair.
Very calm rays. My new pair spend most of the day sleeping in he same corner (in the shade of a floating box with plants). Together.
Just hope its my turn to breed both species this time.
What is your male to female ratio?
