Update on housing 2 Armatus together

Alright, slight aggression is present tonight. No teeth being shown though. One charges and then slows down to nudge the other from tme to time. He has not opened his mouth though. The one getting nudged doesn't seem to concerned at all. Like he doesn't even move.. The aggressor is the smaller one which seems rather odd because whn they were divieded in the 75 the big one really wanted to get close to the smaller one. Small one is 11" maybe almost 12 now.
I added a Silver Aro thats about the same length (13"), but seems kinda scrawny. They don't seem to even look at him, although he hangs around the 2 armatus like they were his long lost best friends.
I added 45 Crdinal Testras. LOL, you can see the Armatus eyes go a little crazy when the school comes by, but obviously they don't do anything.
I also added a very small Striped Royal Plec tonight. He is around 4", but I don't think they will ever have a chance to mess with him. (To good of a deal to pass up).

Anyway, just wanted to give you guys an update and thought you may be interested in the nudging.

1 at 6" and the other is at almost 7".

very nice man! im having problems with my pair.
i didnt get them at the same time, one is 2 months earlier but they are from the same batch.. im having "seniority" problems at the moment. so i had to take out the new one. hopefully after i move by the end of the month, set up the tank without any decors and substrate this time, new environment and all, the seniority thing will be resolved. HOPEFULLY!

lol, Yah... the big guys are safe so far. The tetras are thinning in #s from the overflow lol. I guess I need to get some screen on them hehe

i wanted to try the neon thing in my tank too...but i dont think neons reproduce quickly right?
my fish are still small,so i think theyll still see the neons as food...
and theyll get sucked into my overflow.

Yeah lol they will probably get eaten. I need to do a little research on them. I didn't think they bred in aquarium very easily. If they did that would be cool. I could see the aro acting as a scoop going through a massive school. Overflow can be fixed though. I do think it wuld be cool if they bred

OnceLoyal, very nice Armatus. What are you currently feeding them and how'd you transition them if off live? I have a few right now and about to transition them to a 75+.... currently 6". They'll eventually get to a 270g. but still power feeding them feeders.
