UPDATE ON LMB TANK

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i didnt mean i released him in the lake, i gave him to the fish shop. i mean release as in giving him away since all i wanted to do was to keep peacock bass, but until he ate one of the peacocks i had to let him go. not in the lake but to my local fish store.

my bad, may have been a poor choice of words, but still my bad.

and was woundering what kind of gravel u r useing? Also where did u get the black rocks and the big lacey plant?

the big lacey plants are fake and from the dollar store. the gravel is a mix of grey small gravel and black buck shot. its like sand but bigger. the black rocks are from a beach

the gravel is a mix of grey small gravel and black buck shot. its like sand but bigger. the black rocks are from a beach so can u use a gravel vac without it sucking into the bucket? Where did u purchase the grey & black gravel at? U should enter ur tank in tank of the month id vote for it. :)

Very nice

i'd like to enter it i just forget when it comes time.
i bought the gravel at just a big box store and i got the buck shot from a guy for a deal. i have about 300lbs of substrate

Isn't buck shot made from lead?

I don't think I would want lead in my tank. Pure lead is insoluble, but the alloys aren't and I seriously doubt that pure lead is used.

Very, very nice tank! Is that real driftwood? I come across a lot of it when I am out fishing, but I don't want to introduce parasites into my tank. I would like to have a similar setup as you.

NM, saw that you found some and bought some! Is there a way to treat found pieces of driftwood before putting them in your tank?
