the occasional potbelliedness is what makes them so adorable wet pets

At such a young age and small size it's normal for them to look overfed but I wouldn't go so far as to say that less is more for a young RTCXTSN as they do process their food very quickly and are using ALOT of energy for growing, so feeding till they are pot bellied as someone called it isn't horrible on them and ensures that they have enough food to last and to help with the growing process. That Said it doesn't mean that they should look like this for every meal simply that they will be able to handle this from time to time. Once they hit 12" it gets harder on them to look this way and you should really try to keep them with the "plump" not Fat look LOL

Couldn't Agree more! Although it's nice to be able to give them a prey that they can "hunt" from time to time it really isn't needed and your just asking for problems with parasites and other types of issues.

Enjoy them as they really are great lookin Cats :)

I understand about thier appitites...I do after all have big cats...all raised from 2" or less but what everyones failing to concider is the otential for DAMAGE with bellies this destended. My feeding recomendation wasn't for a proper mix by the way...that can be fed in sane preportions every day while young but for the feeders. I've seen FAR too many big cats die from internal damage caused by this sort of feeding....Yes Cats are tough..but thats not really an acceptable risk IMO.
