Ok so I guess I'll purchase 3 and see thier progress...how do they even enter then tank? Are they just hitchhikers?

Mine came in on frag plugs...just anothe rreason to dip your corals. Although I am not certain if that stuff kills aptasia.

Hey Everybody,

I purchased Aiptasi X...it seems to be working. I added it to the anemones I saw which I counted to about 20, tomorrow I'm going hunting again for more anemones.

Also Fleshy, in order to not get this invasion again...I should quarentine corals and or rocks....in search of pests?....then the dip.

Coral dip like "revive" is supposed to kill hitch hikers. Not sure if it works on aptasia.

Never had luck with using the X...just seems that you get rid of the big ones to have ten fold the little ones the next week.

Hey flesh, I was skeptical about this product too....so I placed it on around the disk of each anemone I saw and finally gave a nice stab in the disk of the solution mix. Their was a little rock in the tank that had 2 anemones on it....so I experimented. I used the solution and then they immediately close, covered in that white gunk that builds....today thier is no remains. Also the biggest anemone is in my filter it's disk is little bit bigger then a quarter!...After the shots...hasn't come back.
