Well as some of yall know about me breeding the ghost shrimp i started about a month ago or 2. Well nothing happen they all died in the tank no eggs that i could see where at the top the females all died fast i think. I took what i had left, use them as fish food for my Oscar. I was hoping for the best to get them to breed but no luck. I guess i will have to rethink everything to see where i went wrong.

Some species of ghost shrimp do not breed in freshwater, they require brackish for the hatched larvae. American glass shrimp will breed in freshwater. Another very easy shrimp to try is cherry shrimp. Just be sure to have any filter intake covered with a sponge, or better yet use a sponge filter.

I just had a Air pump in it thats it
