I use Reptivitte dust vitamins.

You might want to add a calcium as well. Have they put on weight since their last pics? FBT are a cubby frog and should not be thin like that.

If you want your Fbt to be eaten or nibble on sure you can mix it with turtle. :irked:

I dont see why people have to mix animals all the time. There is no point in cramming them into a small space with other animal they would have never come in contact with in the wild.

FBT do produce a toxin. it will eventually build up and harm the other animals. A FBT NOT going into the water is NOT normal and the husbandry needs to be looked at and fixed.

r these all in the same tank:eek::eek::screwy::screwy:

Are those your FBT in your avatar? They're waaay too skinny... You might tery chopped Earthworms (NOT red crawlers!) to fatten them up. Even though males are leaner than females, generally speaking, FBT should be very chubby Frogs.

In my 40 gallon paludarium I have 2 FBTs, along with a green tree frog, a red zebra mbuna, and an American Toad. I have had the FBTs with a variety of other animals before with no problems, and I don't use a filter. Just a once weekly water change and a small pump to make some water movement (waterfall). The FBTs won't even go in the water, instead choosing to burrow with the American Toad (the three are always together in a burrow under the coconut shelter). Thought I'd share.

BTW Zachary, the FBTs will probably eat the guppies (mine did so I put in my 3 inch Red Zebra Mbuna, who actually does very well with them).
its always fun to mix critters together... the only problem is that it can sometimes be dangerous to the animals themselves.:headshake

Well, I separated them today, and now my 2 FBTs have their own 10 gallon paludarium with a piece of pothos in there. They still don't want to go into the deeper water, instead just sitting in the shallows with only their belly in the water (exactly what they did before, sit in the waterfall with only the belly and feet in the water). They seem to just like the shallows and land. I'll see if I can get a green one (mine have both been brown since purchase a few years ago) that likes the deeper water. Maybe it will train them to enter deeper water.
