Update on my giant catfish!

keed a update on the grow rate, do you have him outside or inside, i am thinking of keeping one, and were did you get the wels and how much did the catfish cost you if you don't mind me asking, how did you got the licence. thanks

njackson, I'm not in the UK This cost me 100 not including shipping.

It has a voracious appetite, kind of like filamentosums. I mean nearly every other day it is hungry, with filas, they were the same way.

I am doing lots of observing on this catfish. It likes a place to hide so a cave, driftwood, etc is good. It can be active during the day if its hungry and its active at night as well.

On the River Monsters episode, Jeremy Wade and some other person caused agitation in the water and the wels would key in on that agitation and go to were it is.

Well I tried that, I slapped the water with a frozen silverside and within a few seconds, the wels was right were the sound was and took the frozen silverside.

lol. You two should have bought this cat when it was available! They are hard to get! Very few people in the US have this cat.
