Update on my little flowerhorn

Well from my previous post i finally got new pics of my flower horn. i finally got him to eat some cichlid growth, and beefheart and earthworm flake. I I took him out of the 10g where he wasnt eating, then i put him in a 20l i couldnt see very well as this tank has no light, so i did some moving around of fish and put him now in another 20l that was holding a managuense baby. this tank has a light. well i was sure surprise to see what he looked like after a few days of food and light.

so here he was about a week ago when i first got him:

the pictures dont do him justice as the glass is dirty. He has bright red/darkpink fins now. i lov this color. with this update is there any more insight on what typ of flowerhorn he is? how good? bad? any input would be nice as this is my first flowerhorn. He already has some presonality too coming up to the glass to inspect me and follows me around lol
 
nyc fish bro... you really gave lots of effort for your Fh. that's great and we are proud of guys like you. lol. keep updating bro. how much did you pay for such a creature?
 
lol oppp chick dont like to be called bro haha. hey you might want to change your gravel to a bright collor to help the color of your fish to come out perfectly,but wow in black gravel and it still look great lol great job sis.
 
yes this little guy is my special project. I am very attached to him and want to see him grow into a beautiful monster! he has already come a long way in just a week with me so im glad he looks nice :) any tips would be great. And as for the black gravel, its the only takn i really have, i exeperimented with black sand in two tanks and well i haven gotten rid of it lol. looks nice for bright colored fish though. i had albino cories in that tank and they stand out greatly.

as for the little flower horn im trying my best, he will upgarde from tank to tank as he grows even if i go broke lol.

yeah as u can see from the pic frm the first day, he had no rd on his fins. i was very surprised when i netted him from the other tank how much he had changed. im glad he has started eating and swimming around, he had just been a depressed emo fish for the last few days. hes coming around :headbang2
