its blurry but i think we would be able to see some small claspers so prolly female. also do a search on clasper pics or something and look at the small male pups and see if yours has them or not.

Ok Guys, is it skinny due to lack of food or does it need "cleaning" of parasites - if so what is recommended?

It will be skinny from both most probably, you would hope the shop would have run a course of wormer/anti parasite. So you need to dose with the appropriate treatment. I think in the USA that is prazipro. Here in the Uk it is a flubendizole based product called wormer plus(others are available). That combined with the increased feeding is shat is needed in this situation.

I've noticed recently, prazi hasnt really been doing the job very well. For some reason, it's only after a dose of metro will my new imports start to put on weights.

Nice ray. Once you get him / her really acclimated it should start putting on weight.
