Fine looking Pygos. Nice tank. I have a set up with four that I am thinking of doing away with in favor of maybe making a FOWLR tank to complement my reef but I am in a state where I am not "technically" supposed to have them. How would I go about selling them? any suggestions?

I wouldn't sell em dude. Some guy just got popped for 10 grand and prison time that used to sell stuff on this forum for selling RBPs in florida. FYI.

Give em to a friend, keep em for life, or....euthanize. Just don't release into the wild.

dont sell em! your doing a great job! my friend started with 15 and they ate eachother until he had just two! then he decided it was best to give them to me because of my fiish thumb. one died that night but the other is now looking really healthy. i think you should keep em. but if you really dont want them, find a friend with a tank and give em away. or sell them for a good price. but you do have skill so keep up the good work.

Put a black background on the tank and it will look much better.

Forget a black background. Lose the castle, get one of these, and some driftwood and some sand. Under the sand put some of that really nice mineral rich plant substrate you can get at a good LFS. Plant some amazon swords and jungle vallisneria. Your tank would be the S**T!

Thanks, Im still looking into some driftwood for the tank, finding a nice piece around here at a reasonable price seems to be impossible.... There is actually four tiger barbs in that tank, they just didnt show in the picture, anyone else keep barbs with their rbp's?

I had two tiger barbs with my rhom before. he ate one the first night after I put him in the new tank. the larger barb was too fast for him to catch.

Believe me dude, sooner or later, at the end the reds will get that barb and tear him apart.

barbs are bad mmkay...

seriously though, I wouldn't keep barbs or any other cyprinids with my P's, only because they are bad for P's to eat. All cyprinids suffer from the same problem as goldfish, they inhibit the metabolization of B vitamins (B12, thiamine, folic acid, etc.) which makes P's sick.
