update on my spotted gar w/pics

it looks like none of those its like 5" and its like the picture polypterus showed us but darker spots and olive greenish color

if it looks like none of those, then it just further showcases the variability of the species. you can't go by pattern alone in telling those two apart, trust me...and if that's what you're going, it's likely not a proper ID of a spotted gar. it's not impossible, just very unlikely--

Whats its size? It seems like it may be a charicin, which is neither a gar nor from florida. But, thats how I found out what I bought.
