I'd advise against getting another oscar. I don't know about your area, but people have a hard time finding new homes for large oscars in my area. I say keep the set-up your currently have.

Did you check all the seals on the magnum?

+1. Most LFS's won't take an oscar for free. You might be able to give it away on craigslist for free though.

As for the magnum, is there air stuck in it somewhere?

i may have to get new tubbing for the magnum which will be next weekend when i get some money so for now there gunna have to deal with the eheim 2260. ya i think im going to pass on getting another oscar as right now im having a lil aggression probs with the 2 oscars and my pair of cons with 5 day old frys, noone is getting hurt but dont want to risk another fish. tank dims is 5 foot by 18 wide by 2 foot high
