wilds are definitely not as hard as people make them out to be... just change water, and keep things stable and they will do great for you
what kind of plants are those?
thanks Jose. your right ewok. wilds are actually easier to keep than domestics once you acclimate them to your tank. I think they are hardier and going into thier 8th month I have not had one problem. I was like many people who are afraid of trying discus because of all the old myths about them. they just need clean water, quality food, and the right tankmates. my ph is a steady 7.6 and wc's are straight from the tap. being wilds they won't breed in my water, but this is a show tank. not interested in breeding.
sorry ewok. that's brazilian pennyworth. it can be planted like stem plants or floated. does'nt need much light and takes care of my nitrates. i'm trying to grow some emmersed to cover the wood sticking out of the tank top. not much has changed except for the addition of 4 wild festivum's.
Loving the new pics. That tank is just perfect!! Just ordered my wilds from John. Ended up going with 2 Gipsy blues, 1 Nhamunda Blue, and 1 Tefe Green. Can't wait to get them in!
