Na, it's most likely not a leveling issue. I think because the tank is so large the silicon is drying before your getting to smear the bead between the glass or the glass surface is not completely clean/dry. It sounds like you have a very very small leak. But it's a leak and must be fixed.
I've been in your shoes and I know what your going through. It sucks I know :)
So you have two options: You can try to find the area that's leaking. Like the lower left corner has the leak or what ever? Then drain the tank and make sure the area is dry. Your going to need a couple days to dry this with a fan. When you think all the water is out and the tank is very dry, push your finger into the silicon in the area that you think is leaking. If water squeezes out your going to have to remove the glue in that area. Put a fan on it and dry it out again. Re-apply the silicon in that area and check for leaks.
The best option sucks the most. Usually the best decision is the hardest to make!
Rip out all the old glue and start over. Make sure the gluing areas are clean and dry. I like using acetone from Home Depot. I'm sure glass cleaner would work too. You just have to make sure all the old glue is off and the area is dry, no oils or dirt so the glue bonds to the glass.
Okay I'm sure your sick of me by now, I'll shut up.

never sick of good advice.... you're great brother and i'm glad youre here.

yep so that's exactly what i'll do. this time i really just have to have patience and wait. i currently have my live stock in my 120 gallon quarantine tank. but it's not big enough and i can't put them in my 100 gallon reef cuz it's too small and the fishes are too big. they'
d eat all my corals. gosh.... so many angles to look at when S++t happens huh? going nuts.
well anyways, thanks again everyone for the time you all spend with me in the last couple of days. needed the support and you guys are there. great!!! thanks.

oh and i do know where the leak is and concentrated on that area when siliconing the tank. but oh well. i'll do it again...

8x3.5x2.5 leaks in the middle of the bottom of the front of the long end 8 feet from the seam where it meets with the bottom glass... got that? hee hee

FORGET IT.... NOW THE ACTUAL BOTTOM GLASS IS CRACKED... WHAT HAPPENED? NEVER MOVED...

OH WELL, DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS FIXABLE OR JUST TIME TO GET A NEW TANK...??????????????????????????

IT'S fixable. Relax. I have two tanks right now with two pieces of glass on the bottom. You need to find out why? Is the tank on styrofoam and then the stand? Sometimes styrofoam is used as a buffer between the tank and stand for a cushion. It kind of smoothes out deformities so the tank sits even on the stand.

Scrape out all the old glue and get a piece of 3/8" or 1/2" glass that just fits the inside of your tank? If you have a center support you may need three pieces of the glass. Lay them on the bottom, nothing, I mean nothing, can be between the two pieces of glass or it will just crack again. Hit all the seams with some silicon and let dry. It will hold water I promise!

so anyways found out that the bottom glass is broken, ordered a 40" by 24" tempered glass 1/2" thick that will be coming in today. the previous resealing is fine. no leaks.

hope this works, wish me luck.

i'm gonna wait a week or so before adding water. though 2-3 days seem to have worked fine previously. checked this site and found a lot of useful info but no pictures of broken bottom glass repair. if anyone have any pictures please post them on this thread. thanks

newest update...

bottom glass is fixed and water is in. So far so good. it's been 2 days now with water running at full level. Sand and rocks were just put in today with fresh saltwater. cross my fingers and hope it doesn't leak again.

Will post new pics soon when fishes are added. Thanks for all your help guys. Your advice helped make this work. thank you thank you...
