Depending on the genes their growth rates can be different. It could also be your feeding routine. They take a year to sexually mature. Atleast thats what they say you should wait before attempting to breed. It is possible to breed before they are a year old. V_F bred his before they were a year I believe. But he has experience with breeding them. It is just usually recommended to wait a year just because it can be stressful on the gecko.

Thanks for the info evilxyardxgnome! :headbang2

I'm not going to breed them, but I'm just curious as to when they will be full grown.

She looks good! Stop by my house if you want a free friend for her! :D

haha thanks for the generous offer! I've got too many herps as it is, I was actually trying to sell my leos a few months ago but nobody wanted them.

I feed daily, unless they missed some then I skip that night and let them hunt out the ones that got under the paper towel.

So I think they're eating a lot lol

Well Leos can live for 15+ years. I forget how old V_F's are but I do believe they are pretty old.

I will have had my oldest pair for 17 years in April of '09. :headbang2

I wouldn't leave any food uneaten. Crickets and mealworms or whatever you are feeding can chew on your gecko.

:iagree:

Good point, I havent' been adding fish food for the crix to eat in case they survive.

I'll have to figure out a better way to feed, maybe feeding less at a time, because pulling all their stuff out to shake out the crix is a PITA
