I picked this guy up around a month ago and he was pretty banged up.
Now he's looking happy and healthy :D

Rendahls Eel-tail catfish.

Nice cat mate, ive been considering pickin up one of these guys for awhile now, reckon it could go with my red eye tetras? (4-5cm tetras.) And with other eel tailed catties of various species?

Well he's not aggressive at all, none of the rendahls eeltails are really.
You could put them together....the only warning I will give you is this: most cases these guys will be very boring until dark.
 
Lol, i wouldn't mind that, the ones at the LFS are pretty active, but they got no where to hide there.

Remember that Rendahls and normal Tandanus tandanus sometimes look the same.
You should get one if you like the eeltail species.. I eventually want to own atleast one of the whole family :D
