Tanks is looking good! I always wanted to add plants to my tank but my RTGG and phoenis keeps on distroying them. Even my aussie lungfish will nibble on the leaf. My fire eel, tire track eel and SAL and dorids will uproot them. Plant won't even last a week in my tank. If I add some drifwood my ripsaw catfish will always messed it up. I might do a semi-planted with drifwood and rock on the future tank though.

Yeah I don't see much room in the temp tank lol maybe when you finish the plywood tank.

What kind of lighting are you using? How many watts? Any fertilzers?
What is the substrate called where did you get it from? Tanks is absolutly amazing looking. Do you know what plants you have. ]

I'm using compact flourescents, 65w, 50/50 kelvin (switching to 10K), substrate is just smooth eliptical shaped gravel from Jebo, called 'black gravel'. I've got several species of sword plants, J moss, J fern lace, J fern needle, nymphae zenkeri, aponogetons, and tha'ts it.

Glad you like it man. :)

I don't have any new ones yet, but I'm working on them.

Here's a shot of my nicest Delhezi, the darker one is a male, the lighter one is a female that was newly introduced, I got her from Wes as a wild caught import from somewhere along the congo river. If you check out his rare fish pic thread, you will see a picture of her that he posted as a dorsal view :D she is darker now:

Setup looking good Sergio

Thank you sir, it looks messy now when I look at it because that one branch tilted forward so the java farn don't have the right outline. I will correct that.

Thank you Jack, I'm still not 100% happy with it, it needs to grow in a lot more, but next year this time it will look truly stunning. :)

Yeah it's not easy, but worth it. I have to re-plant them often.

Freakin sweet set up!

Thank you sir!

Cohazard, that is one impressive tank. I have always thought that planted tanks with natural decor are the way to go.

Your fish have a very nice place to live!!!
