right around the 22 inch mark probably....And no D-E

Very nice, equally nice are the barbels most aros this size have barbels that are bulky and curled, most likely a result of them rubbing against the tank glass. I know you were given this aro, but how long has it been in your 500g tank?

Thanks-
Much appreciated...

Been in my tank now for around 5 months I would say...Maybe a bit longer....

I have no clue where he came from or what size tank he was previously housed in.....But he came to me nice and skinny....Beaten up scales, and a bunch of black spots(which have mostly gone away now)...But certainly has recovered nicely.....He can be found swimming every inch of my tank also-Not uncommon to see this big guy cruiseing the bottom of my tank-Or even mid level swimming.....

22" sweet great job raising it

Boy I would love to see you tank in person, maybe you could post a video sometime. I think to many people assume that silver a just top water fishes. I would imagine in the wild at times they will also swim a couple feet below the waters surface in order to ambush small fish and frogs, that are at the waters surface.

I dont know how to use my camcorder----Still unopened in the box....

But I do have an older canon SD550 powershot that can take vids...Just not the greatest...

I have to go down to the shop today to feed them ne how---
I will try to get some vids of me hand feeding the aro and pacu...

And also see what I can do about getting a few vids of my other setup's also....

But just be prepared in the beginning please-----This tank is in the worse location possible for pics and vids-----
But I will see what I can do for everyone....I get ?'s all the time on how my tank setup is----And trust me when I say it is nothing special to view.....Right now n e how...

It also takes me a few hours to upload these damn short vids.....But I will try for ya Sir....
