Justin literally "spit-shined" the spot of the tank where the midevils were hanging out. You should crop some of those photos in tighter Justin, your camera takes a large enough photo that you won't lose quality getting rid of some of the dead space (I'm looking at you, Mag-Float!).
The photos don't do that male midevil any justice.
Thanks for the advice, lol at the magfloat comment. I have such little eye for quality photo's if it's in focus, it's a "great shot" I rarely think of stuff like that. Your 100% correct on the male. I need to post a video of him. I'll do that soon.
sweet stock man, and nice tanks as always.
Thanks Taylor!
Beautiful cichlids, Justin! Man, I can't imagine how awesome it must be to have such a large tank with those Rays hovering above the bottom. I really like the substrate too. You're doing a great job with the RTM pair.
Thanks Al! The ray tank is such an awesome thing to relax in front of. It's a very different experience that what sitting in front of a cichlid tank is like. I'll always have both but with a stressful job this is really calming and relaxing to me.
awesome fish! love the jags
Thanks Randy!
Beautiful fish and setupYour stingrays are looking awesome! How are your 3 pairs of cichlids getting along in their?
Thanks J! They are not all in the same tank, that would be a disaster. The RTM pair have their own tank. The jags and midevils share my 300 gallon tank but do not spawn. The bond in the jags is weak (male on left, female on right and midevils in between) and the male midevil is not fertile. The fact there wont be any fry to protect I think is a lot of the reason this setup works so well. If these were fresh spawning pairs this this would have a short shelf life IMO.
