That's true, many TIGs die young, but, they turn hardy when they get big. I'm lucky that I started keeping it at 1" (for a lower price), and no bad thing happened. It's 120 US$ for an one incher, and could be like 300 for a 7 incher here in Taiwan.
The best looking tig I have seen!! the patterning is a blessing that has set it apart from all the rest....if I were you I would be more than happy that he turned out so unique that last back photo rocks
