yes, i found with my rtg, from this point the growth is slower.
but i am trying to remedy that.
the water is my key priority. Nitrate is NEVER higher than 10 to 15ppm... 10 is normal due to the water change system, also temperature constant...
and FOOD, i never ever regulate feeding, i feed untill it is satisfied....

hopefully in 1 year or 2, i will upgrade its tank

current tank is : 210cm L x 72cm H x 82cm W
upgrading hopefully to: 240cm or 300cm L x 70cm H x 100cm W

filtration for me is also a top priority, massive filtration so they cna be fed ANYTHING i feel like feeding lol
i could probably poo in the tank too:D

no, heaps more! total set up is a 600litre growout and a 1200litre red arowana tank (comm) description of stock is in the tyou tube link.

so the filters dilter all the tanks in one system.
(note, the fluval 404 is no longer there just 3x fx5)

i feed the monster mainly prawns now stuffed with massivore.
mealworms too when i can get them stuffed with spirulina powder.

whe it was younger, i had a locust breeding set up and it would eat 50% locust gutloaded with spirulina (i would mist grass with water and then dust with spirulina powder)
and prawns with shell stuffed with massivore.

the red eats daily, 2 to 3 prawns a day with out fail.
 
Great Red Arowana! The tanks filtration is awesome as well.
