most likely a hybrid between a texas and a "green texas". still just a texas... looks like the ones i catch from the pond.

well i think something else is in there the spangles are very large and shape like scales look at the middle of the fish,Two texas mixing i woud think they wound round or worned shaped.I think it is a red texas that failed. I agree with the others who had already said this.I have fry growing from this fish and my red dragon cant wait to see what they will look like.

Good reason why I say Hybrids are not good for the hobby. But that picture of the true Texas is awesome.

Flowerhorn/Texas bred back to a Texas is my guess. I dont have anything against hybrids, except for the fact that some irresponsible people mislabel fish.

I agree with the Flowerhorn /texas .I have the advantage of seeing the fish all the time .First thing in the mornring she is very red
and her flowerline come in and out.Picture quality is not that good.i have a Green Texas with her and there are differences.I see fish mislable all the time my Mayan was sold as a Red Terror and my Cuban as a Jaguar ,which are not hybrids.I understand some people do not like hybrids but I due ,but i also like alot of fish other then hybrids.I have Flowerhorns ,A Cuban ,Mayan ,Green Terror, and other hybrids.
